27-year-old man shot during the screening of KGF 2 in Karnataka’s cinema hall

According to several news sources, a 27-year-old man was shot twice by an unknown individual during a screening of KGF: Chapter 2 in a cinema hall in Haveri, Karnataka. The person who was hurt was taken to KIMS hospital for treatment.

According to reports, a man from Mugali village named Vasanthkumar Shivapur had come to the theatre with a group of friends to watch the Yash starrer. After a few minutes, he returned to the hall with a pistol and fired at Vasanthkumar.

According to police, Vasanthkumar (27), a Mugali village resident, was watching ‘KGF 2’ with his buddies at Rajashri theatre. Vasanthkumar accidentally touched the seat of another moviegoer 20 minutes into the film. According to the police, this created an altercation, and the accused stormed out of the theatre with a buddy, only to return with a pistol and shoot at Vasanthkumar.

According to police, three shots were fired, two of which struck Vasanthkumar. He was taken to KIMS Hospital in Hubballi and is now out of danger, according to a doctor who is treating him.
