Obama birthed DACA programme killed by president Trumps ‘America First’ under pressure from all Segments.

Around 800,000 such young people come under DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) were enrolled under the programme as of June 2012an American immigration policy birthed by Obama. These people also got covering under Dreamers Act to refer as dreamers. He only difference between undocumented immigrants and American citizen is that the immigrants aren’t American citizen. It was taken into account after lots of pressure from an advocate who wanted protection for young immigrants who were mostly raised in the US but lacked legal status.

Obama launched Programme DACA according to which recipient must have no criminal record proof they were brought to the US before age 16and under 31 when the programme was launched but at least 15 years old. While applying cost was $500 permit and it to be renewed 2years.Through the application and it’s processing take several weeks. DACA programme of America differs from the Dreamer act as it did not provide a path way to legal residency or citizenship.

However, it was said that President Donald Trump was under pressure from several states that threatened to sue his administration if it did not end DACA. The argument over Obama issued programme was unconstitutional and Congress should take charge of legislation dealing with issues.

Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do). If they can't, I will revisit this issue!

WHAT CURRENT DACA STATUS

Young immigrant already enrolled in DACA remains covered until their permit expires.

If the permit expires before March 5, 2018 date has right to renew for another 2year as long as they apply by Oct 5.

If the permit expires beyond that March date they will not be able to renew and could be subject to deportation when their permit expires.

People who miss October deadline will be disqualified from renewal for permission to remain in the country also face deportation.

It will now in hands of Congress to take up and pass legislation helping DACA beneficiaries. One bill introduces this year can provide path way to legal permanent residency.

In five year since DACA was enacted 800,000 individuals coming under these categories have settled started families pursued career and studies in school and universities all over the US. Thus business and education at large have joined Democrats and many moderate Republican in supporting fight as they sympathetic fact that many Dreamers have never known home other than the US.

AS US Attorney general Jeff session o Tuesday announced rescinding  DACA  protest was all over carried even major CEO to be siding DACA as it seems. The country economy can be affected $400 billion and California itself will lose annual GDP$11.3B reports noted.

• Their average earning is $36,232 reported unreported amount altogether something different.

• Nearly three-quarter of the largest Fortune 500 companies employs DACA workers.
