US Sanctions:

It all started when the world powers noticed Iran’s keen interest to develop Nuclear Missiles and Nuclear based researches. Even though, Iran promised that its nuclear research is merely peacekeeping and never for any nuclear missile developments, the world was not convinced to believe the country. Therefore, the major powers of the world namely – US, UK, France, China, Germany, Russia, and Germany made a long-term deal with Iran. The deal consisted of continuous monitoring of Iran’s Nuclear Intentions and regular inspections at Iran’s nuclear facilities. Suppose if there is any credibility loss on the side of Iran and had been any minor acts that denote Iran’s nuclear missile development, then the major powers of the world would install Sanctions on Iran and thus eliminating the country’s main economic balance.

Owing to this issue, the US has imposed sanctions on all the countries having any sort of economic ties with Iran. While there is no surety that Iran will decrease its controversial Nuclear researches, it is quite evident that the US wants Iran to pay the price for going against the deal.

Iran’s Major Business

Crude oil is the major product of Iran that gives profit for the country after exports. Many world countries including China, South Korea, India, and a majority of the European countries buy crude oil from Iran. Since this is a legitimate business between the countries, some of the other countries in the European Union are agitated by this sanctions.

US Sanctions – The 8 Countries

The US has given a waiver to 8 countries including US allies such as Italy, India, Japan and South Korea. The other countries names will be let out in the following weeks. The Sanctions on Iran are put in action from November 5th. Hence the waiver is given today (3rd Nov). However, these waivers are only temporary. Since these 8 countries have shown a significant decrease in the business dealings with Iran, the Trump Administration have given them a waiver.

The US President Donald Trump has used a very famous GOT Imagery for delivering the sanction news. The HBO Network has slammed the president for inappropriately using the Game of Thrones trademarked titles for a political propaganda.

Even though there can be some disapprovals on the sanctions, the motive to make the corrupt countries of the world to bend for the sake of terror-free world is appreciable.
