BJP Shiv Sena Alliance on Lok Sabha Elections Maharashtra

For some time now, the NDA ally Shiv Sena has fielded the Opposition against the Narendra Modi government. This has entered as a discussion leading to an agreement between the BJP Shiv Sena in Maharashtra for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. So far, Shiv Sena, who has wanted to play the role of older brother in Maharashtra, got 23 seats out of total 48 seats, while BJP will contest 25 seats.

What is the rapport between the duo BJP Shiv Sena?

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the alliance between the BJP Shiv Sena said that ‘there is a debate on ideas amongst us but we are connected to each other from the viewpoint of ideology‘. About their contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he said that Shiv Sena will contest 23 seats and BJP will contest 25 seats.

Only after a few months of the Lok Sabha elections, the assembly elections in Maharashtra will take place. So in the forthcoming assembly elections, BJP and Shiv Sena will fight for the equal number of seats. Devendra Fadnavis said that the BJP’s relationship with Shiv Sena was 25 years old. But due to some differences in the previous assembly elections, the two parties fought separately. 

The tension between the BJP and the Shiv Sena are of the past. The Shiv Sena had left no stone unturned to cover the Fadnavis government of the state including the Modi government. Whether it is the issue of Rafael or the issue of drought in Maharashtra. Further, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray praised the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme.

BJP President on both the parties

BJP national president Amit Shah said that in the last few days there was a difference between the two parties. But now it has become distant. Amit Shah said that Shiv Sena and Akali Dal were the oldest allies of BJP. Later, Shah claimed that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance would win at least 45 seats in Maharashtra.
