Arun Jaitley- the stalwart of BJP

The former minister of finance Arun Jaitley of Bhartiya Janata Party expired at the age of 66. The stalwart Arun Jaitley of BJP passes away on 24th August 2019 Saturday.

Arun Jaitley was not well for the last couple of years. He faced a kidney surgery after which he was kept under isolation. In the year 2014 93 underwent surgery to control the massive weight gained by him because of diabetes.

Arun Jaitley was seen as ago to Man of the prime minister during the Modi government era. He was the spontaneous man to take different types of temporary responsibilities other than his own primary subjects of finance.

Being the finance minister Arun Jaitley was responsible for setting all the government budgets. However, because of his ill health, the budget of 2019 could not be presented by him. The budget of 2019 was presented by Piyush Goyal his colleague.

After the victory of BJP in the Lok Sabha election of 2014 the politician, Arun Jaitley wrote to respected Narendra Modi about not assigning him opposition in the government. He said that he wanted to focus on the betterment of his health.

Arun Jaitley was professionally a lawyer who was sent to jail during the government of Indira Gandhi during an emergency. After his release from jail he joined the politics actively. He also became a member of Jain Sangh. He was the one behind racing the organization which later became the Bhartiya Janata Party.

When Bhartiya Janata party was in the opposition, Arun Jaitley as a lawyer served the cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He even served in Rajya Sabha as opposition’s leader.
