The talented and the Theatre World Award Winner, Nick Cordero, 41, died after battling Coronavirus.

Nick Cordero, the charming Tony-nominated actor known for his Work in Bullets Over Broadway, Waitress and A Bronx Tale the Musical, took his last breath on Sunday after a ardous battle with the coronavirus, his wife announced. He was 41.

“Unfortunately, I can confirm that the story is true. Nick is claimed to have passed around 11:30am at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. He really was loved, an excellent great guy who,many people, he didn’t even know he had known pulling for him. Fans and friends, castmates and their families were all posting videos singing a song Nick wrote called “Live Your Life.” it had been an unprecedented show of support.” Amanda Klootsaid.
God has another angel in heaven now,” Klootsupdated on her official Instagram account Sunday night. “My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth.”

Kloots has been regularly revising her social media accounts with news of her husband’s health conditions as he battled the virus and complications, including an amputated leg. She said “Cordero battled the disease for 95 days.”

Cordero entered the Emergency Room on 30 March and had rapid health setbacks including mini-strokes, clotting of blood, sepsis infections, a tracheostomy and a short term pacemaker implant. He had been on a ventilator and in an unconscious state and had his right leg amputated. A double lung transplant option was being thought on.
Kloots sent him everyday, videos of her and their one-year-old son, Elvis, and urged friends and fans to hitch a daily sing-a-long. She has said it had been difficult to inform whether Cordero understood what was happening, but when he was alert he could respond by looking up and down.

Born in Canada, Cordero grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, and eventually made his way to the New-York city, commonly known as Big Apple.

In 2014 he was proposed for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award his role in “Bullets Over Broadway,” a role that won him a Theatre World Award and Outer Critics Circle Award.

It had been at “Bullets Over Broadway” where Cordero met his wife, Amanda Kloots. The two tied a knot in 2017, they have a 1 year old son named, Elvis.

Viola Davis was among those in mourning, wrote to his widow and child that “my heart is with you all.” Fellow Broadway actress and president of Actors’ Equity Association Kate Shindle shared her thoughts on Twitter that she was “heartbroken for his family and deeply saddened by the loss of this talented and widely loved actor.”
