In a gruesome incident, Banter, a popular cafe in Delhi’s Rajinder Nagar, brutally beats a guest on its premises after he requests that food be re-heated. The incident came to light after an IGTV video on Instagram went viral.
In the video, a man describes the heinous assault that occurred to him, and we can see how viciously he was beaten up by restaurant employees. In the video, he describes how he booked the café to celebrate his birthday, and how the staff harassed him and his brother by calling the bouncers when they insisted that the meal be reheated.
The video is shared by the man’s wife as she explains in the caption what went through that evening. She captioned it, ” I would like to bring to your attention an incident which took place on 13th of March 2022, the BIRTHDAY EVE of my husband. We decided to make it extra special for him, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst nightmare of our lives. We booked BANTER DELHI @banterdelhi to celebrate my husband’s birthday night. Since we recently got married, it was our first together after marriage. But the following are the images that show how awful it actually was. How the manager beat him for NO REASON. How he called 15 outsiders just in order to beat him till this point. Yes, you heard it right!!!! The manager of Banter along with the Owners @sanyam_kalra05 @amangarg297 @sagar3 stooped so low that he spoiled almost everything. My husband is not able to see from one of his eyes properly. He has his jaw cracked. His engagement ring with the other ring, gold chain along Kadaa got confiscated and stolen by them.
I request everyone to just boycott this place as everything that you’re watching is true. A complaint has been filed against them. And no action has been taken yet by the Rajindar Nagar police.
“I request everyone to check my other post as I was unable to combine all those proofs together due to the settings of Instagram..CHECK THE EVIDENCE IN THE NEXT POST,” she added.

We tried contacting Banter but they remain unavailable for the comment. In addition, the cafe’s Zomato operations have been suspended, since the cafe appears to be temporarily closed on the platform.
