NBA star player Kevin comment lack proper words far at par for apologies

A star player Kevin Durant all but should feel sorry for the comment about the India is 20 years behind the world in knowledge and experience.

In his apology, Golden State warrior player has mentioned that his comments were taken out of context. Durant also wrote that he is really irritated with how his comments came off and he should have worded it better. The basket baller in an interview with The Athletic about his recent India visit talked the culturally shocked he experienced. He said there were just bunch of underprivileged people who want to learn basketball.

He said” I went with no expectation no view on what it’s supposed to be like. I usually go to places where I at least have a view in my head. India I’m thinking I’m going to be around palaces and royalty and gold- basically thought I was going to Dubai. Then I landed there I saw the culture and how they live and it was rough. It’s a country that’s 20 years behind inters of knowledge and experience. You see cows in the street monkey running around everywhere hundreds of people on people on side of the road a million cars and no traffic violations. Just a bunch of underprivileged people there and they want to learn how to play basketball that s- was really dope to me”. Though his visit to India Durant held the largest training session of basketball where 3459 children trained at the same time make it a Guinness World Record. His foundation also donated two basketball in New Delhi and he later went to see the Taj Mahal.

However, he apologises and added his comment were made public Durant was happy with experience India as he said.
