A man in Delhi killed his mother and himself; police found a 77-page suicide note.

The Delhi Police said a 25-year-old man died allegedly by suicide on Sunday, just days after killing his mother in Rohini.
Kshitij and Mithilesh were identified as the victims. Mithilesh, according to police, was a widower.

The man killed his mother two or three days ago, according to police, and her body was discovered in the bathroom. On Sunday, the son committed suicide with a knife.

The police were notified after a call to the Police Control Room (PCR) around 8 p.m. by neighbors who detected a foul odor coming from the house.

When the investigating officer arrived, the main door was locked inside. The staff broke into the house from the balcony and discovered a man’s body with blood on it. A woman’s body was discovered in the restroom. Pranav Tayal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said her body was highly decomposed (Rohini).

“We also discovered a 77-page suicide note written by Kshitij at the location. Kshitij admitted in the letter that he murdered his mother on Thursday. He later committed suicide by slitting his throat. We dispatched crime and forensic science lab teams to the scene. In this case, legal action has been taken, “The DCP continued.

According to the officer, Kshitij mentioned “depression” and wanting to end his life because he was also unemployed in the suicide note.

According to police, nothing suspicious has been discovered so far. They are attempting to contact relatives in order to learn more about the family.
