Aero India 2023 Takes Off, PM Salutes Made-In-India Tejas

Today, the prime minister opened the largest aero show in Asia, Aero India 2023, in Bengaluru. The 14th iteration of the event will showcase homegrown tools and technologies to create alliances with international businesses.

The five-day event will highlight India’s expanding aerospace and defense capabilities under the theme “The runway to a billion opportunities.”

On the first day of Aero India 2023, there was a sizable exhibition and trade fair in addition to aerobatics.

The Aero India 2023 competition will feature nearly 809 companies from 98 nations.

During the event’s opening remarks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that Aero India represents India’s new strength and aspirations. He continued by citing the INS Vikrant and the made-in-India Tejas aircraft as examples of India’s potential.

“India’s accomplishments demonstrate its potential and capacity, and the roaring of Tejas aircraft in the sky serves as evidence of the success of the “Make in India” movement. The new India of the twenty-first century won’t pass up any chances and won’t skimp on its diligent work. We’re getting ready, “PM Modi stated during his speech.

The importance of Aero India taking place in Karnataka, the center of Indian technological advancement, was also emphasized by the prime minister.

Under its “Make in India” policy, the government has insisted that businesses like Lockheed Martin Corp, Boeing, and Airbus share technology or produce more than just parts in India.
