While they caught the world’s eye many noticed the elegant and ethnic Indian outfit donned by mother daughter duo for the occasion as their outfit custom-made by none other than leading Indian designer Manish Malhotra.

The outfit of former miss world was white light blue embroidered suit. The detailed and lavish work on suit conveyed richness of Indian handicrafts and it glowed much on 43 year old actor way she carried. Aishwarya has become the first woman to hoist the Indian flag at IFFM of Melbourne as part of their celebration of 70th year of India’s independence. She said “Thank you so much Melbourne thank you everyone for giving us such a moment of pride and happiness with so much love and warmth. Celebrating our 70th Independence day will forever be such a beautiful memory for me and my dearest Aardhya”.

The festival which started on Thursday will be showcasing films with inspiring stories and experiences. In all 60 Bollywood films 20 short different language films and the subcontinent including over 30 Australian premieres.
