People of Jammu and Kashmir finding it difficult to approach to the HC. CJI Ranjan Gogoi decided to visit Srinagar himself to find out the real problem or difficulties faced by the native people. He himself said that it is a serious issue if people are not able to approach to the High court. That is why he decided to visit the union territory himself. The chief justice of India (CJI Ranjan Gogoi) on Monday declared that he will be visiting Srinagar himself in order to study understand the situation of the place.
Ranjan Gogoi was attending the claims and queries made by the editor of the newspaper Kashmir times, Anuradha bhashin and enact gangly (activist of child rights). Lawyer (Professor Shanta Sinha) of Anuradha bhashan began to put forth her arguments and then justice bobde replied that the shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir can be settled and dealt with the high court of Jammu and Kashmir. Vrinda Grover replied to this statement and I said that in the valley of Kashmir public transport and internet has stopped working. Due to this it has become difficult for the people of the territory to approach to the high court.
During this conversation enakshi ganguly along with professor Shanta Sinha complaint against the illegal detention in the territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It was pleaded by the petitioners that individuals below the age of 18 who arrested must be released. CJI insisted them to approach to the high court of Jammu and Kashmir in the reply of which the lawyers said that they are not allowed to access to the Jammu and Kashmir high court. Noticing this to be a serious problem Ranjan Gogoi asked every individual that whether they are being forcefully stopped from visiting the high court. In reply to this the lawyers said that the shutdown in Kashmir is the main reason which is preventing everyone from approaching to the desired location.
At last Ranjan Gogoi warned one of the lawyers that if the chief justice report comes out something different from what they have depicted then they will be the one to face consequences
