The film is considered to be a weak competitor to Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, which is projected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu soon.

The film Samrat Prithviraj is based on the brave King Prithviraj Chauhan’s life. The superstar will portray the heroic warrior who bravely fought against Muhammad of Ghor.

Sanyogita, King Prithviraj Chauhan’s sweetheart, is played by Manushi Chhillar.

Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood both star in the film. On June 3, the film Samrat Prithviraj was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
