Finally! Deepika and Ranveer became #DeepVeer Officially. We just witnessed “the wedding” of the decade. Perfectly located at the backdrop of one of the most beautiful lakes of the world – Lake Como, the wedding itself was very enthralling. On November 14, the most beautiful souls of the Bollywood became one after the Seven steps around the holy fire. #DeepVeer ki Shaadi
The wedding happened twice, once according to Konkani rituals on 14th and another according to the Anand Karaj rituals. The bride and groom dressed accordingly to their respective weddings.
The musical sangeet ceremony started with a Mehendi and ended with a bang.
They returned India and gave a peek of them newlyweds at their residence.
#DeepVeer – Bengaluru Reception
Today, the tinsel town couple is hosting their first reception at Deepika’s hometown Bengaluru. The reception is happening at The Leela Palace and the arrangements were completely taken care of by the bride’s mother Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha. Consequently, their official pictures that came out recently showed us the couple looks out of the world and certainly how happy they are together. The couple wore the signature designer – Sabyasachi’s designs for this reception too. The guest list has many people coming from Deepika’s side and her father Prakash Padukone’s friends.
#DeepVeer – Mumbai Reception
On November 28th, the second reception is going to happen at Mumbai. In fact, the guest list has so many stalwarts of Bollywood including Sanjay Leela Bhansali – The man behind the making of Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, the KingKhan – Shahrukh Khan and the master crafter Farah Khan.
