“I am ready,” Donald Trump declares his candidacy for US President in 2024.

On Wednesday, former US President Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 US Presidential Election.

The 76-year-aides have filed paperwork with the US Federal Election Commission to run for President in 2024. Trump is the first major Republican or Democratic candidate to declare their candidacy formally.

“America’s comeback begins right now,” the 76-year-old said in the ballroom of his opulent Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

“I am announcing my candidacy for President of the United States tonight,” he said.

The world was taken aback by the business magnate and reality TV star’s election victory in 2016. The Republican leader enjoys enormous popularity among his supporters and has been very vocal about his desire to run for President again.

“Hopefully, TODAY will turn out to be one of the most important days in our Country’s history!” Trump had earlier posted on his Truth Social platform.

The former US President is still barred from using Facebook and Twitter, two social media platforms that aided his political rise.
