On Wednesday, while the whole of Indian Airspace is in constant monitoring, the PAF fighter jets F-16 entered three km near the LoC. PAF entered the Indian airspace near the areas of Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The IAF immediately retaliated. They shot down one of the fighter jets at Lam Valley and other jets flew away after IAF’s response.
These jets have also dropped few bombs near India Army post in Rajouri sector which has not caused any major casualties.

In the meantime, an IAF jet was crashed in the J&K district of Budgam. There have been false news developments given out by Pakistan that this jet was indeed shot down by them upon seeing the jet entering near LoC. But clearly Budgam is inside IoK and their false accusations see the light.
The chopper had reportedly developed some technical fault and caught fire after breaking down in an open field in close vicinity to Srinagar Airport. And two people are reported dead in this accident.
Major Airports across the border closed in both India and Pakistan
At first, the Srinagar and Leh airports were closed after the IAF Chopper crashed near the Srinagar airport. But following the shooting of the PAF F-16 jet, the airports Chandigarh, Amritsar, Srinagar, Jammu, and Leh in India are closed. Similarly, the airports in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot of Pakistan are closed until further notice.
#TravelUpdate. Due to airspace restrictions, flights to and from Amritsar, Srinagar, Chandigarh and Jammu are currently on hold. Customers are requested to check flight status before commencing their journey to the airport. (1/2)

Pakistan’s crocodile tears
Pakistan has reportedly spreading fake news by pulling an old jet crash videos from their archive that they have shot down an Indian Aircraft.
In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.

But the Indian Defense has informed that their jets have suffered some technical issues and it is not caused by the Indian adversaries. Further, the Indian officials have confirmed that none of the Indian pilots is arrested.
Actions by the Indian Government
Indian Government has shut down the civilian flight operations in many cities. The schools in 5 km radius along the LoC are also closed. Further, all the residents were advised to stay inside their homes for safety until the situation develops.
The whole Indian military, IAF and the Border Security Force are in high alert along the borders. Clearly, the tension between the two countries is very high. PM Modi has cut short his function in Vigyan Bhawan and has rushed to a meeting with the other security personnel.
Following the terror removal strike, the Indian Army has killed two terrorists of (JeM) Jaish-E-Mohammed in J-K’s Shopian.
