Indore hospital forcing patients to share stretcher

There is shocking news about one of the largest hospitals run in Madhya Pradesh. In an appealing case of laziness, the hospital staffs forced to share one stretcher by a male patient and a female patient. This incident took place in a hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The hospital is named as Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital.

Among them the female patient was named Sangeeta who was admitted in the hospital twelve days ago as she was suffering from fracture (right leg). The husband of the female patient Sangeeta was Dharmendra, who claimed that his wife was taken in a stretcher for some medical examination with a male patient due to lack of stretchers available.

He and the other family members wanted the treatment to be done as fast as possible so they were helpless and allowed the staffs to take both of them in the same stretcher. He also said that “my wife was admitted in the orthopaedic ward.”

According to the report the staff answered the patient that it was the doctor’s order to take both of them in a single bed when she asked the ward boys and stuff the reason behind such action. The doctor also asked the family members to meet him just during the appointed time and said that he won’t be treating the patients after all before the business hours (claimed by Dharmendra the female patient’s husband). While Sangeeta admitted that it was an inconvenience caused in the stretcher.
