Internet Calls Man “Ambassador Of Indian Tourism” After He Returns US Woman’s Lost Wallet.

In a touching story, a woman from the United States recently described how a man stepped forward to assist her after he discovered her lost item. She had forgotten her wallet on a train in India. The woman claimed in a video uploaded to Instagram by user @stephandpete_ that she forgot her wallet in India when she boarded a train and had to get off at the station. 

Soon after, a man named Chirag sent her a message on Instagram to let her know that he had found her purse and would be returning it.

The post’s caption stated, “I’ve learned (3,000+ times over) how wrong I was to tip for a genuine act of kindness (and how transactional American culture can be), how common something like this is in India (I’ve been loving all of the other lost and found stories! ), and lastly, how many people believe I lost my wallet on purpose (in month 17 of travelling with a three-year-old, I assure you that this kind of carelessness comes naturally).”

Earlier this month, the woman posted the video, which has received more than 3,000 and nearly 50,000 likes.
