Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi until yesterday, has been relocated to the lockup cell on the first floor of the CBI office in the nation’s capital.
For questioning regarding alleged corruption in the liquor policy case, Manish Sisodia, who was detained on Sunday, will remain in CBI custody until March 4.
Manish Sisodia, widely regarded as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s number two, is not subject to any dress codes while being held. According to CBI regulations, he may get clothes from home.
The former Delhi education minister can eat meals prepared at home if he obtains a court order.
These limitations will be in effect while the CBI holds the AAP leader.
Manish Sisodia left the state cabinet on Tuesday after holding 18 positions in the city government.
He was credited with significantly improving the facilities and educational standards in Delhi government schools while serving as education minister.
Since Mr. Sisodia’s arrest, the AAP has raised a conspiracy theory, claiming that the BJP has given their leaders free rein to attack Mr. Sisodia’s accomplishments and undo the work done by the Delhi government.
