Apart from the 200 meter stretch of the Mandi- Pathankot highways the landslide that took place around 1.15 am at kotpuri village washed away two buses of Himachal Road Transport corporation (HRTC) tw0 cars and a motorcycle. Five houses were also damaged. Rescue operation was suspended late evenings as there were apprehensions of more lanslides. The rescue work would resume on Monday.

Meanwhile Mandi district has administration has activated helpline numbers to provide information about the victims.
