With Manhattan terror attack president orders extreme investigation on incoming travellers

WASHINGTON: President Trump orders on Tuesday saying to be more vigorous on the critical investigation of travellers coming Into US as this incident was following the first deadly attack in New York blamed on terror since 11 September 2001.Trump tweeted “I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this”. He also said” my administration will provide its full support to the New york City police department including through a joint investigation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation”.

A 29year old Sayfullo Saipov to be person responsible behind plowing a speeding truck through a busy bike path in lower Manhattan. It is said similar to be ISIS attacks practice, Saipov said to be from Uzbekistan, he was arrested after being shot in the stomach by official of the New York Police Department. He has Florida driving license but may be living in New Jersey as per reports. Around  Eight people said to be killed  injuring few , though his relation to Uzbekistan where there is ISIS presence  and also it is not one of the countries subject to trump’s controversial travel ban.  This type of attack are proving quiet new in terror where common people are targeted it seem to be new trend among terrorists.

Second came in March with limited version of the ban was allowed to come into effect over the summer following temporary ruling by the Supreme Court. As nation’s highest court to hear arguments in case on 10th Oct where two groups of challenge a collective of democratic states and migrant legal advocacy groups have argued trump has exceeded his legal authority and has deliberately targeted Muslims. Since then Trump’s updated order which now includes non-Muslim majority countries is likely to affect the arguments in the case reports as per the Guardian.
