Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, November 25, through his monthly radio program, “Mann Ki Baath” spoke to the countrymen. It marked 50 episodes of this program. For this, the PM thanked the countrymen and the media. He added why he is addressing people every month through the radio. He narrated a story through which he impressed people with the influence of radio.
PM Modi said, “my dear countrymen, after 50 episodes we will meet again and again in the forthcoming “Mann Ki Baat” shows. I believe that the feelings behind this program today gave me the opportunity to speak to my countrymen directly and answer the many of your questions. And our journey will continue. The more you join, the travel will be deeper and the satisfaction will be available to everyone.”
#Mann Ki Baath – Guru Nanak Jayanthi Wishes
The HonourablePrime Minister also expressed his wishes for the fellow Indians for the auspicious occasion of Gurunanak Jayanthi. He also expressed the plans to celebrate the 550th Gurunanak Jayanthi in 2019 to be very elaborate and a grand event. He even expressed the plans of the government of India has made a major decision to make Kartarpur corridor so that the passengers of our country can easily visit the holy site of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Kartarpur, Pakistan.
#Mann Ki Baat – Indian Constitution
PM Modi said that in 2020 as a republic India will complete 70 years and in 2022, 75 years of our independence will be fulfilled. He urged everyone to value the fruits of our Indian constitution. Talking about the Constituent Assembly, PM expressed the contribution of the great men to building the constituency can never be forgotten.
Further describing his views PM said, “The special point in the Indian constitution is the rights and duties. In the life of the Indian citizen, the combination of these two will take the country forward. If everyone respects the rights of others, then one’s own rights will be protected automatically. Likewise, if we follow our duties in the Constitution, our rights will be protected. The Constituent Assembly was the confluence of the great talent of the country, every one of them was committed to giving their country a constitution by which the people of India should be empowered and even the poorest of the poor should also become capable.”
Today, November 26th is the day when our constitution was adopted in 1949. The Prime Minister remembered the occasion and requested the fellow citizens to work towards the successful and well developed India.
