According to an international survey, people in the UAE feel safer walking at night than anywhere else in the world. The Emirates received a 95 percent rating in Gallup’s Global Law and Order 2021 study when it comes to feeling comfortable travelling alone at night. Norway was ranked second on the index, with a score of 93%.
The Emirates came in second with a score of 93 points in the highest law and order index. With 94 points, Norway was voted the best country in the world.
“If a woman wanders alone at any hour of the day or night without fear, know that she is in the Emirates,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
