Pakistan Spy drone shot down by IAF in Rajasthan Bikaner border today

Earlier today at 11.30 AM, Indian Radars have picked up a spy drone belonging to Pakistan. Immediately it was shot down by Sukhoi-30, a fighter jet made by Russia. The Sukhoi fighter jet of IAF scored this kill by using its air-to-air missile after detecting the drone in the Indian radars. This is the second time in the past 6 days that Pakistan had sent a drone to spy on India.

Earlier the first drone was shot down on February 26 by Israeli designed surface to air missile system called as Spyder in the Kutch region of Gujarat. This came after (IAF) India’s surgical attack on JeM camps killing as much as 300 to 400 terrorists (as per sources).

Ever since the air dog fight between the MIG 21 Bison of India and F-16 of Pakistan happened, the whole airspace of both India and Pakistan is in constant monitoring by both the countries. Since drones are cheaper alternatives to the aircraft, they are very commonly used for spying by both these countries. But when such incidents happened in India, the IAF are the first to stone it down.

After Pakistan getting the custody of Indian Pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, within just a mere 55 hours, India made Pakistan to release the pilot without any deal. Within such a short span, India had pulled so many strings. Involvement of the UN Security Council and pressure from other big dogs in the world are the strings India pulled to bend Pakistan and make it release the Pilot.

While India is not yet found its peace aftermath of Pulwama attack, many things show that there are many more consequences to come for Pakistan which gives terrorists and their aids a safe haven in its country.
