Salabh Kumar trump supporter and founder of the Republican Hindu Coalition said that the community is hoping President, in fact, will also consider their request that he addressed a rally in Chicago for around 1500 Indian American.

Though in June Trump had declared a known event of decades-long White house tradition of celebrating Ramzan with an if tar dinner, so considering it there was apprehension among community Diwali dinner will be on or not. So the announcement of celebration dinner was partly anticipated  while adding surprising elements, A much too similar dinner was first hosted by former US President Barack Obama in 2009 since then became annual affairs.

The Kumar who played as an advisor during trump presidential election  campaign in Indian American community told sister publication Nav Bharat times that white house is taking Hatch’s suggestion seriously.  Hatch suggestion was in this week letter to white house chief of staff John Kelly Republican senator Orrin  Hatch urged the trump administration to make the Diwali bash even grander, he said the Indian’ American community support for Republican peaked in the 2016 US presidential election and therefore the constituency’s demands and concerns must be addressed seriously. Hopes are high in Indian American community regarding fears about Trump going all for stricter visa regime.
