Dreams were woven as back to time, what was prestige for many have finally found its suitable bearer in Indian face, which got crowned as Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar. Chhillar born on 14 May 1997 is an Indian model and beauty queen who is the Sixth Indian women to win Miss World title and first in after last 17 years since Priyanka Chopra had won in2000.

Chhillar was born to doctor parents in Haryana her father is Mitra Basu as scientist at DRDO while mother Dr. Neelam Chillar an associate professor and department head of noechemistry. Herself studied at Delhi and is pursuing a medical degree in Sonipat.She trained Kuchipudi dancer while also attended national school of Drama. Chhillar face took up heap with as was declared Miss Haryana to be the Miss India 2017 in June at Yash Raj Studio, Mumbai.

During the competition, Chhillar was crowned Miss Photogenic, went to win the competition as well earning the right to represent India at the Miss World 2017 competition.
At Miss World 2017 she became semifinalist in the top model People’s Choice, also co -winner of the Beauty with a Purpose competition as Project Shakti. For her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project, she spread awareness about menstrual hygiene, visiting 20 villages and touching the lives of 5,000 women. “If an organization like Miss World backs this, it could reach a different level altogether,” she had said.
According to Chhillar’s profile on the Miss World website, aims to be a cardiac surgeon and has plans of opening non-profit hospitals in rural areas. Chhillar’s profile also has profile of passion for outdoor sports like scuba diving, snorkelling and bungee Jumping.

She impressed the judges throughout, but her final round answer was the icing on the cake. When asked which profession in the world deserved the highest salary and why, she said, “Since I am very close to my mother, I believe a mother deserves the highest respect. When you talk about salary, I don’t think it’s just about cash, but it’s the love and respect you give to someone. I think my mom has always been my biggest inspiration; mothers sacrifice so much for their kids. It is certainly that one profession which deserves the highest salary, the highest respect and love.” Her motto in life is “When you cease to dream you cease to live,” and she believes her education has given her the confidence to stand on stage and helped enhance her skills. In an interview just before leaving for the Miss World pageant, she said, “When you are studying medicine, you are learning how to deal with people and you understand why they act the way they do.
However Indian also got Mr. World at the very same Miss World.
