On the latest meet with the parents and teachers on the second edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (2.0), PM Modi shared some thoughts about overcoming the stress examination puts on the young children.
As a mother of a once very studious kid expressed her relatable experience with her kid that, he is always being on online games portal and playing games. The reply from the honorable PM made the whole auditorium burst into laughter. He said “PUBG-Waala Hai Kya?”, immediately, a lot of loud cheers followed. While there has been a lot of tension amidst the parents and teachers about this game addition among the school goers, this question tickled many.
On a serious note, PM said these following:
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi urges parents to explain the positive uses of the technology. He says that the technology should make us open ourselves up to newer possibilities and not close us behind the door of mediocre things.
- He further advised parents to find different approach towards making their children use technology for learning new things.
- PM added that, while online games are kind of a blessing, they too come with some negatives like an addiction. Therefore must be limited to the children’s use.
- Then he requested parents not to pressurize the children to score higher marks. Encouragement is the path towards motivating the kid to score higher. Therefore he says to kindly refrain from stressing kids to score higher.
- He also mentioned the importance of time management. With the 24 hours that everyone is getting, we should make the most out of it every day. He asks everyone to prioritize things and do them one by one so that we can be more productive.
With just a few weeks for the exams, PM Modi has definitely spilled some beans of wisdom for both parents and children. This came as an awakening for the parents to de-stress.
