According to railway officer NDTV showed the rescue of about 200 passengers which included mostly children and women. Areas of badlapur, Vangani and Ulhasnagar remained submerged as the local rivers flooded with water. Due to such immense rainfall and inconvenience there was a disturbance even in the air traffic. 11 flights got cancelled at the Mumbai airport due to such inconvenience. It is really a struggle for India’s financial hub and the entertainment hub to cope up with such rainfall.
