“Ready for encounters and will go ahead of UP,” says Karnataka minister

The government of the BJP and the party leaders of Karnataka are encountering a repercussion from the party members following the murder of a Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha member Praveen Nettaru (32), who was killed in the communally susceptible Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday night.

“The patience of the people is continuously tested, and that is why our chief minister said that such criminals and murderers would be dealt with mercilessly. We are even ready to perform encounters our Chief Minister has said in the government”, Dr. C N Ashwathnarayan, former Deputy CM of the state, informed reporters in Ramanagara region, where he is the district in charge minister.

“In the upcoming days, such criminals will be made to tremble in a way that they will never desire to perform such murders. The suitable time for encounters has come. The state government will take powerful action and will not allow such offenses to take place. We will develop awareness and anti-terrorist squads. Such crimes should not happen anywhere,” he said.
