An ruthlessly played and gracefully won

Finally just before Independence Day Virat and his boys brought pride back to country with wining series against Sri Lankan. Afternoon bought new India won by the 171 runs at Pallekele. It was expected to be challenging tour but no one could have dreamt such a scenario just after 11 days of cricket. India was professional with both bat and ball, Sri Lankan weren’t so, and the end result says itself.

Ravi Shastri say India could have done it even without a coach. It was whitewash on Monday with complete3-0. Srilankan were all out in second innings wee bundled out for 135 on Sunday  after India posted 487 in their first innings.

India had won both in Galle and Colombo inside four days.

Before this Biggest away win for India was 2007in Dhaka by innings and 239 runs.

It was said that meek submission from the hosts after the tourists put a big score on the board.

Today game was opened by Shami and Ashwin both played very well helped in sealing the victory. Shikhar Dhawan was “Man of the series”. The century from Dhawan and Hardik helped to post 487 in first innings.

Virat Kholi all but praising the team was very happy with performance always feel nice to have convincing wins, pretty good day for us. He ended saying (Sri lankan) all were super talented players. They beat Australia by3-0.

Thus failure had slim chance since winning of the Galle and Colombo.
