A student from India was shot dead at Grocery Store in California

According to media in US state of California a 21years old Indian student has been shot dead allegedly by four robbers, among which there was an Indian –origin man, at a grocery store.

The incident was reported to the police yesterday when a customer stopped by to buy some goods where they found dead bodies of Jasser on the floor. Police arrested 22-year old Armitraj Singh Athwal, an Indian origin man who is believed to be one of the four suspects who looted and fired multiple shots on of which hit Jasser as gas station grocery store. Police said a Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy saw media coverage of the incident on Tuesday and recognized some similarities between the suspects from the incident and Armitraj County Sheriff’s office. After consulting reports from Madera Sheriff’s detectives and determine that Athwal is likely suspect in the shooting, a warrant has been obtained for suspect will be transferred to the Madera Department of Corrections, as per reports. Madera Sheriff Jay Varney said “Dharampreet was completely innocent victim, just doing his job, when he was senselessly killed during this robbery”.
