The autorickshaw blast in Mangaluru, Karnataka, on Saturday was not an accident but rather an “act of terror with the intent to cause serious damage,” according to the state police chief. Karnataka’s top cop, Praveen Sood, added that the police are investigating the incident alongside federal authorities.
Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has also stated that central investigation teams assist police with the investigation.
