Musk wrote in a tweet, “The people have spoken. “Trump will be re-elected.” He also used the Latin phrase “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” which translates as “the voice of the people is God’s voice.” The account of the former US president was said to have reappeared shortly after Musk’s post.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, launched a Saturday poll asking, “Reinstate former President Trump?” The results showed a narrow margin between those who supported his return to the microblogging site and those who opposed it. 51.8 percent of users wanted the former US president to return to Twitter. This comes just days after Trump declared his candidacy for president in 2024.
