On Saturday evening, two migrant laborers from Uttar Pradesh were injured in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Meanwhile, a search for the attackers is underway in the area.
The incident occurred in Anantnag’s Rakh Momin area late at night after terrorists whose identities are being investigated fired at them.
Chhotu Prasad of Puraina, Gorakhpur Prasad, and Govind of Dhuria Ghaat, Gorakhpur, have been identified.
They were transferred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag with bullet wounds in their legs and thighs, but their condition has been described as stable.
“#Terrorists opened fire on and injured two outside laborers in #Anantnag’s Rakh-Momin area.” Both injured are being transported to a hospital for treatment. The area is being cordoned off.
