In a rare moment, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had received an invite from an auto-rickshaw driver on Monday kept his promise and shared dinner with him and his family in Ludhiana. The AAP supremo had interacted with a large group of auto-drivers as a part of his campaign earlier today. In the Question and Answer session, an auto-driver named Dilip Tiwari took the microphone and invited him for a meal at his house.
Kejriwal informed his fans of the news via a tweet, and his tweet has already gone viral with numerous likes.
The Delhi CM, in his post, said that he was “touched” by the auto-rickshaw driver’s gesture. “I was so touched when an auto driver invited me for dinner to his house. We will certainly go there for dinner tonight,” he wrote in the tweet.
Dilip Tiwari, a Ludhiana resident, is the auto-driver who hosted Kejriwal today, according to ANI.
Dilip Tiwari, his wife, and his family prepared delicious cuisine for us. The food was delicious. I appreciate their family’s generosity in providing such delectable fare. “I’ve now invited his entire family to supper at my home in Delhi,” the AAP politician said.
https://t.co/PqCLUue4pm
