Whether during COVID-19 or in Afghanistan, India stands up for Indians Says PM Modi

On Saturday (28 August 2021), Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the country is with the Indians either during the COVID-19 or in Afghanistan.

While the reconstructed Jallianwala Bagh Memorial Complex was almost inaugurated, the Prime Minister said, “Today, when Indians are in difficulties, anywhere in the world, India comes up to help them. The globe has experienced it continuously, be it the Corona time or the catastrophe in Afghanistan.”

PM Modi said that Operation ‘Devi Shakti’ is bringing hundreds of friends from Afghanistan to India. He claimed that the government, thanks to ‘Guru Kripa’ may take ‘Swaroop’ with the Indians from the Saint Guru Granth Sahib.

He said that Gurus’ teachings assist prepare policies for those who are affected by such situations.

Premier Modi stressed the significance for ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ in the current international conditions, and emphasized that AathmaNirbharta was needed, and that Aatmavishwas was needed (self-confidence).

More than 260 Indians have so far been evacuated from Afghanistan, which has been torn apart. Over the COVID 19 outbreak multiple flights were flown in the country to return abroad Indians under the ‘Vande Bharat’ mission.
