Winner of the two gold’s, Hima Das and Muhammad Anas in 200 and 400 metres respectively.

Hima Das again makes her country proud of her excellence. Since her first competitive race on July 2 in Europe she kept on improving day by day. She bags the 4th gold medal in just 15 days for her country. This 19 years old teenager is a mark of inspiration for all girls out there. Through her hard work and deeds she proves that nothing is impossible if you are dedicated and determined.

The event took place in Czech Republic this Wednesday (17th July fortnight). She won the gold medal for winning the 200 metres race in just 23.25 seconds at Tabor Athletics Meet. She competed with the other teams presenting Czech Republic. She is very close to her best score of 23.10 seconds.

Compatriot of Hima, V K Vismaya bags the silver medal for completing 200 metres race in 23.43 seconds. The pet event of Hima Das is the 400 metres race and she is very near to qualifying for the world championship in 200 metres as well as the quarter Mile event.

While in the men’s 400 metres Mohammed Anas got the first place and made his country proud.

Muhammad Anas in the men’s championship in Czech won the Gold by completing the required 400 metres in 45.40 seconds. His competitor won the silver medal. The qualification time for the world championship is 45.30 seconds in 400 metres men’s race.
